Why We Built This Site
Michigan court records are easier to locate when the court is identified first. The Ogemaw County Clerk keeps 34th Circuit Court records, while the 82nd Judicial District Court and Probate/Family Court use their own record-office routes. MiCOURT Case Search is the public statewide index for participating court locations, not the official record itself. The material here connects those distinct routes with court codes, local contacts, request details, and explanations of register-of-actions access.
What You Will Find Here
- Case lookup: public name and case-number routes through Michigan’s participating court search system
- Docket explanations: how criminal and civil register entries differ from full case files
- Hearing information: ways to read a court setting and confirm it with the proper office
- Record requests: how to ask a court clerk for an ROA, order, judgment, or certified copy
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately operated reference resource, with no affiliation to a Michigan court, court clerk, or government agency. Its role is limited:
- It cannot retrieve an official docket sheet or case file.
- It cannot set, reset, change, or verify a hearing date.
- It cannot seal, amend, or remove a court case.
- It cannot issue a certified copy of a record, order, or judgment.
- It cannot provide legal advice on a pending or completed case.
- It cannot guarantee that an office procedure, fee, or setting has not changed.
Only the court or clerk that maintains a case can provide its official or certified record. A search listing may help identify the request, but it does not replace that record.
Search Partners
Some pages include search tools operated by outside providers. Their services, results, pricing, and privacy practices are their own. A paid sign-up generated through a partner may produce a referral fee that supports this resource. Those tools do not supply an official Ogemaw County court record, and their results should be verified with the court that holds the case.
